Tennesse Child Abuse Funds

Safe Haven Center receives these funds for it primary prevention education program. Money for our child abuse prevention work for Knox County and the East Tennessee region comes through grants from the Department of Children's Services in Nashville, which administers the Children's Trust Fund. The Tennessee Children's Trust Fund blends monies received from the sale of the Children's First license plate and other fees with monies allotted through Federal Child Abuse Prevention funds. The funds are spent in turn on community-based programs that help prevent child abuse before it starts.
